Clinical activities
Professor Cornu is an orthopaedic surgeon. He specialises in osteoarticular infections (prevention and management of complications) and the reconstruction of bone loss by grafting, prosthesis, cell and tissue therapy, etc.
Societies and scientific publications
Professor Cornu has published some sixty articles in various international medical journals. He is a member of a number of orthopaedic scientific societies, including the European Bone and Joint Infection Society. He is also a board member of the Royal Belgian Orthopaedic Surgery Society, the Belgian Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the French-speaking Orthopaedists Association and the European Federation of Orthopaedic and Trauma Associations.
